eDrop Off: House of Consignment

HELLO BOUTIQUE FREAKS!!! Its been a long time, I shouldn't have left you, without a dope place to shop!! Okay I know I'm lame but I couldn't resist! I've been working on some personal growth as well as giving Boutique Freak a new look! Hope you guys like it :-) Alright, on to the goods! I was visiting my sister in Michigan for her graduation and we decided to do a day trip to Chicago. I found some really amazing stores so if your ever in the area or if you live in Chicago make sure you check out my next few posts to find some great places to shop! My first stop was at the infamous eDrop Off headquarters! I love the show House of Consignment on VH1 and I admire the creator of eDrop Off Corri McFadden. No, I did not meet her but from what I've learned about in Press for eDrop Off and of course the show I love her! So what exactly is eDrop Off you ask??
eDrop Off does exactly what the display window says! They describe themselves as a Luxury Consignment Servic. Here's a YouTube video that explains their process (this video was made by the eDrop Off Staff and posted on YouTube by them, NOT ME. However all of the pictures were taken by my sister and me)

So if you have a closet full of designer or luxury items and your ready to make room for more, why not choose to make some money off of it?? Go visit the eDrop Off Website or visit them yourself . The location I visited was in the posh Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago at 2117 N. Halsted. Tell them Boutique Freak sent you!

Spice Boutique: Where Sugar and Spice Make Everything.....FASHIONABLE!

Hello Boutique Freaks! I was invited (more like invited myself and they graciously accepted) to come out and visit one of Atlanta's newest shopping spots: Spice Boutique. Spice Boutique is located near the historic Sweet Auburn district in Atlanta. The Sweet Auburn area is known for its booming social and economic success for and by African Americans between the 1880s and 1960s. Sweet Auburn now has a budding fashion district and Spice Boutique is growing with it.

These are the fabulous ladies that planted to the seed, Portia and Jennifer. Portia, a professional model, and Jennifer, creator of Candy Girlz Shoes, came together to form Spice Boutique. The haute new boutique has been up and running for about 8 months now and they have so much to offer. You can get a little of everything from Spice, from exclusive vintage pieces, modern pieces by up and coming designers, haute lingerie, even "haut"er shoes, and banging accessories.

One of the things that really caught my eye when I walked in was the presentation of the shoes and once I got a little closer, the merchandise did NOT let me down. These beautiful shoes are adorned with Candy Girlz Shoes. The great thing about Jennifer's Candy Girlz Shoes is that not only do the designs and styles rival the likes of Louboutain but they're also affordable. My picutre does the shoe display no justice at all but heres a look at it.

While chatting with one of the store owners, Portia I got a little "tea" too. As she told me about all the different lines they carry in the store she mentioned that they carried J. Loren. I told her that I had been to his boutique La Bella Vie in Castleberry Hills (check out my previous posts here ~~>La Bella Vie and La Bella Vie 2). Unfortunately clicking the links to my post is the only way you'll be able to visit La Bella Vie because the owner closed his doors, but on a much higher note you can find all his creations in Spice Boutique. Heres one dress I thought was really nice.

Some other brands you can find here are Cupcake Mafia Tees, Pretty Posh lingerie, and Jewelry and Accessories by artist like Renitta Clements, Miss B, and Aja. You can visit Spice Boutique at 49 Boulevard SE Atlanta, GA 30312. Their website is coming soon, but in the meantime you can stay updated on the latest news with Spice Boutique via their twitter @spice_boutique for @spice_girlz , find them under Spice Boutique on facebook, or just stop in the store and join their mailing/text list! Be sure to tell them Boutique Freak sent you!

the store as well.

So make sure you guys go out and visit Spice Boutique at 49 Boulevard SE Atlanta, GA 30312, you can also visit their facebook page. Their

B-Braithwaite Baby Boutique

Hello Boutique Freaks! I'm back, bringing you something a tad different. My friend Rae and I were walking around her neighborhood one day visiting some of the shops and enjoying some food on a strip on Howell Mill. Its fairly close to area where Room and Board, YEAH! Burger, and other cool shops are. Rae told me she had to show me this baby boutique because she knew that I would love it. I thought it was one of the most adorable things I'd ever seen the moment I stepped in front of the store! This place is call B-Braithwaite. Its an upscale baby boutique.
Now, I don't have any kids. However, I love all things cute and this doesn't exclude baby clothes and accessories! For instance, this beautiful giraffe would look great in any child's room, I loved it! I don't know a whole lot about baby products and clothing brands (other than what popular designers produce for fashion heads and their mini me's) but I do still know fabulous and great quality when I see it. B-Braithwaie is full of highend baby products.
You will definitely find the what's what of the who's who here at B-Braitwaite. If your ever wondering where can I find a stroller like the one Rachel Zoe is carrying baby Skyler in? Where can I find an outfit like the one Kourtney Kardashian has for baby Mason? or where can I find pieces like the one's Kimora Lee has in baby Kenzo's room?? Well the likely hood that you'll find these things at B-Braitwaite is pretty high! The customer service is pretty great too. Even though we expressed to the sales woman that we didn't have any kids but hope to be mothers some day, she still took the time to show us around the store and answer all of our question, how cool is that? You can find this fabulous baby boutique at 1198 Howell Mill Rd Atlanta, GA 30318. B-Braithwaite also has a website at http://www.bbraithwaite.com . They also have a facebook page, so find them, like the, and visit them!!! Tell them Boutique Freak sent you!
